WMPTE: January 1982
A revised pattern of services has been introduced in the Wombourne area and in consequence changes have also been made to through journeys between Wolverhampton and Stourbridge. The services involved are 551, 554, 555 and 556.

The timetable for Service 240 has been improved with the re-introduction of evening and Sunday journeys.
