  Originally published 11 March 2023.

From Thursday 16 March onwards public transport across the region will be severely impacted by industrial action taking place. This includes all National Express Bus services in the West Midlands and local Train Operating Companies.

Buses

Due to strike action by Unite Union from Monday 20 March onwards National Express West Midlands will be operating a limited network, at a reduced frequency and for a reduced period of the day. The strike action is continuous until a deal is resolved.

At time of publishing, Service 6 between Stourbridge and Dudley is being advertised of running a limited service during strike action.

More information on what will be running can be found at https://nxbus.co.uk/west-midlands/service-updates/strike-action

Services provided by other operators including Diamond are unaffected and will be operating as normal, but please note that NX Bus tickets will not be accepted on other operators. These services are likely to be busier than normal.
