Bus Station Redevelopment
Details:
From Sunday 14th January 2024, Dudley Bus Station will be closed for approximately 30 months while construction of the new interchange takes place.
Whilst the redevelopment takes place, services using the bus station will need to use temporary stops on Tower Street, Ednam Road, Priory Road, New Street, Castle Street & The Broadway.
Below is a list of which stops bus services towards Stourbridge will be using.
Service 6 Stop DY3 situated on Tower Street
Service 7 Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street
Service 8 Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street
Service 17 / 17A Stop DY11 situated on New Street
Service 25/A Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street

Midland Metro Works
Details:
From Friday 06 March until Monday 19 October, The Embankment will be closed in one direction due to water main / Midland Metro Works works. During this time, service 8 will be diverted.
Heading towards Wollaston Farm: Buses will be diverted via Waterfront Way, Level Street, Dudley Way, Central Way and The Embankment then normal line of route.
Heading towards Wolverhampton: Buses will follow the normal line of route.

Resurfacing Works
Details:
On 12 April all day, Stourbridge Interchange will be closed for resurfacing works. All services will be unable to serve the bus station and moved to temporary stops on Birmingham Street, Foster Street or Stand J at Stourbridge Bus Station. Services 6, 7, 8, 9, 16 and 142 will be affected.
Service 6 towards Dudley will depart from Stop T2 on Birmingham Street.
Service 7 towards Merry Hill / Dudley will depart from Stop T3 on Foster Street.
Service 7 towards Wollaston Junction will depart from Stand J at the Bus Station.
Service 8 towards Wolverhampton will depart from Stop T3 on Foster Street.
Service 8 towards Wollaston Farm will depart from Stop T3 on Foster Street.
Service 9 towards Halesowen / Birmingham will depart from Stop T1 on Birmingham Street.
Service 16 towards Wolverhampton will depart from Stop T3 on Foster Street.
Service 142 towards Halesowen will depart from Stop J at the Bus Station.
Service 142 towards Merry Hill Centre will depart from Stop J at the Bus Station.
