Bus Station Redevelopment
Details:
From Sunday 14th January 2024, Dudley Bus Station will be closed for approximately 30 months while construction of the new interchange takes place.
Whilst the redevelopment takes place, services using the bus station will need to use temporary stops on Tower Street, Ednam Road, Priory Road, New Street, Castle Street & The Broadway.
Below is a list of which stops bus services towards Stourbridge will be using.
Service 6 Stop DY3 situated on Tower Street
Service 7 Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street
Service 8 Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street
Service 17 / 17A Stop DY11 situated on New Street
Service 25/A Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street

Remembrance Day Parades
Details:
On Sunday 9th November, there will be multiple Remembrance Day Parades across the West Midlands. There may be some service delays and diversions during this time. Please see the information below for more details:
From 6am until 2.30pm approximately, Colmore Row will be closed between Livery Street and Newhall Street. During this time, Services 9 will be diverted.
Service 9 heading towards Birmingham: Buses will terminate at Snow Hill Queensway.
Service 9 heading from Birmingham: Buses will pick up from stop SQ3 on Snow Hill Queensway, then use St Chads Queensway, and Great Charles Street Queensway to rejoin the normal line of route.
From 2am until 6pm, various roads in Dudley Town Centre will be closed. During this time, services 6, 7 & 8 will be diverted.
Service 6
Service 6 heading towards Dudley: Buses will divert from Old Mill Street via Stafford Street, Wolverhampton Street, The Parade, The Broadway, Castle Hill, Castle Street, New Street, and Tower Street to use stop DY2.
Service 6 heading towards Stourbridge: Buses will divert from Tower Street via The Broadway, Castle Hill, Castle Gate island, Castle Hill, Trindle Road, and King Street to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 7
Service 7 heading towards Dudley: Buses will divert from Castle Hill via Castle Street, New Street, and Tower Street to use stop DY4.
Service 7 heading towards Wollaston: Buses will follow the normal line of route from stop DY4.
Service 8
Service 8 heading towards Wolverhampton: Buses will divert from Old Mill Street via Stafford Street, Wolverhampton Street, The Parade, The Broadway, Castle Hill, u-turn at Castle Gate island, Castle Hill, Castle Street, New Street, Tower Street to use stop DY2, and The Broadway to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 8 heading towards Wollaston: Buses will divert from The Broadway via Castle Hill, u-turn at Castle Gate island, Castle Hill, Castle Street, New Street, Tower Street to use stop DY2, The Broadway, Castle Hill, Castle Gate island, Castle Hill, Trindle Road, and King Street to rejoin the normal line of route.
From 10.15am until 12.30pm approximately, Halesowen High Street and Queensway will be closed. During this time, services 9 will be diverted.
Service 9 heading towards Birmingham: Buses will divert from Stourbridge Road via Earls Way, Bromsgrove Street, Grange Road, and Queensway to enter the bus station using stand E, then follow the normal line of route from the bus station.
Buses will follow the normal line of route.
From 10.30am until 12.30pm approximately, Kingswinford High Street, Moss Grove and Summer Hill will have rolling road closures. Service 16 may be slightly delayed whilst they wait for the parade to pass by.
From 9.30am until 11am approximately, Lye High Street will be closed. During this time, services 7 & 9 will be diverted.
Service 7
Service 7 heading towards Dudley: Buses will divert from Belmont Road via Cemetery Road, Pedmore Road, and Dudley Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 7 heading towards Wollaston: Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Service 9
Service 9 heading towards Stourbridge: Buses will divert from The Hayes via Talbot Street, Cross Walks, Cemetery Road, Pedmore Road, and Stourbridge Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 9 heading towards Birmingham: Buses will follow the normal line of route.
From 10am until 12.30pm approximately, Wall Heath High Street and Dudley Road will be closed. During this time, service 16 will be diverted.
Service 16 heading towards Stourbridge: Buses will divert from Hinksford Lane via Swindon Road, Summerhill, and Market Street to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 16 heading towards Wolverhampton: Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.
From 8am until 12pm approximately, Lichfield Street, Princes Square and Broad Street will be closed. During this time, service 16 will be diverted.
Service 16 heading towards Stourbridge: Buses will divert from the bus station via Ring Road St Davids, Ring Road St Peters, Ring Road St Andrews, Chapel Ash island, Ring Road St Marks, Salop Street, Cleveland Street, Summer Row, and Temple Street to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 16 heading towards Wolverhampton: Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Birmingham - Colmore Row
From 6am until 2.30pm approximately, Colmore Row will be closed between Livery Street and Newhall Street. During this time, Services 9 will be diverted.

From 10.15am until 12.30pm approximately, Halesowen High Street and Queensway will be closed. During this time, services 9 will be diverted.
