Reason:
Bus Station Redevelopment
Details:
Dudley Bus Station will be closed for approximately 30 months while construction of the new interchange takes place. A provisional date for opening of the new bus station and Metro line is 01 November 2026.
Whilst the redevelopment takes place, services using the bus station will need to use temporary stops on Tower Street, Ednam Road, Priory Road, New Street, Castle Street & The Broadway.
Below is a list of which stops bus services towards Stourbridge will be using.
Service 6 Stop DY3 situated on Tower Street
Service 7 Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street
Service 8 Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street
Service 17 / 17A / 17S Stop DY11 situated on New Street
Service 25 Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street

Midland Metro Works
Details:
The Embankment will be closed in one direction due to water main / Midland Metro Works works. During this time, service 8 will be diverted.
Heading towards Wollaston Farm: Buses will be diverted via Waterfront Way, Level Street, Dudley Way, Central Way and The Embankment then normal line of route.
Heading towards Wolverhampton: Buses will follow the normal line of route.
Heading towards Wollaston Farm: Buses will be diverted via Waterfront Way, Level Street, Dudley Way, Central Way and The Embankment then normal line of route.

Carriageway Improvement Works
Details:
There will be a minor bus disruption due to carriageway improvement works at Priory Street, Dudley, between 09:30 and 14:30 each day. Services 6 and 8 will be affected.
Service 6 towards Stourbridge: Buses will be diverted via Ednam Road, St James Road, Trinity Road and Wolverhampton Street then normal line of route.
Service 8 towards Wollaston Farm: Buses will be diverted via Ednam Road, St James Road, Trinity Road, Wolverhampton Street and The Inhedge then normal line of route.
