Reason:
Bus Station Redevelopment
Details:
From Sunday 14th January 2024, Dudley Bus Station will be closed for approximately 30 months while construction of the new interchange takes place.
Whilst the redevelopment takes place, services using the bus station will need to use temporary stops on Tower Street, Ednam Road, Priory Road, New Street, Castle Street & The Broadway.
Below is a list of which stops bus services towards Stourbridge will be using.
Service 6 Stop DY3 situated on Tower Street
Service 7 Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street
Service 8 Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street
Service 17 / 17A Stop DY11 situated on New Street
Service 25/A Stop DY2 situated on Tower Street

Highway Repairs
Details:
From Monday 01 September until Sunday 26 October, Waterfront Way will be closed for highway repairs. During this time, service 8 will be diverted.
Service 8 towards Wolverhampton: Buses will divert from The Embankment via Level Street, and Pedmore Road to rejoin the normal line of route.
Service 8 towards Wollaston Farm: Buses will follow the reverse of the above route.

Details:
From Monday 22 September until Sunday 26 October, The Embankment will be closed southbound for Sheet Piling Works. Service 8 will be disrupted.
Service 8 towards Wollaston Farm: Buses will be diverted via Waterfront Way, Level Street, Pedmore Road, Merry Hill, The Boulevard, Times Square Avenue and Merry Hill Bus Station then normal line of route.
Service 8 towards Dudley / Wolverhampton: route not affected.
