Industrial Action - August 2022

The Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) has announced national industrial action affecting 8 train operating companies. ASLEF is the UK's train drivers' union.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union have also announced national industrial action affecting 14 train operating companies and Network Rail.
Members of ASLEF will take part in a strike from 00:01 until 23:59 on:
Saturday 13 August
This means that local rail services will be severely disrupted. There will be no services running from the following operators:
West Midlands Railway
London Northwestern Railway
Avanti West Coast
CrossCountry
Due to the length of the strikes, disruption is expected to continue into the day after action and may affect journeys on the evening before.
Members of RMT will take part in a strike from 00:01 until 23:59 on:
Thursday 18 August
Saturday 20 August
This means that local train operators will be running a very limited service over this period.

On Thursday 18 August, there will be no services running on the Snow Hill Line.
On Saturday 20 August, there will be no services running on the Snow Hill Line.
